Learning Models

LEARNING MODELS:

Onsite Learning Model:

Currently, Clinton ABCSS Preschool as a part of the Clinton School District, will follow the Department of Education's guidance and begin on-site learning or Face-to-face instruction in the fall.  Face-to-face learning will continue throughout the school year unless we are told otherwise by the Department of Education or Department of Health.

All the information in the "Ready to Learn" section is applicable to the procedures we will follow while doing on-site Face-to-face learning.

Remote Learning Model:

Remote learning means that learning will occur from HOME and not at school.

Remote learning could be an option if there is a positive COVID-19 test from a student or staff member in your child's Preschool classroom or site.

If a decision has been made to move to remote learning, you will be notified immediately.

Preschool will use Seesaw, a learning app, as our way to communicate and continue your child's learning until it is safe to return to the classroom.

Seesaw is an app that can be downloaded on any phone or device. Every family will be required to sign-up and download Seesaw for their Preschool student.

  • Your child’s teacher will give you  a specific code so that you can access your child’s account in Seesaw.

  • If technology is an issue for your family, please call the Preschool office and we will work to make accommodations as needed to make sure your child's learning continues if we do move to Remote Learning.

Our goal is to move back to Face-to-face learning as soon as possible and only use the remote learning model when necessary.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE PROCEDURES WILL CHANGE ACCORDING TO THE GUIDANCE WE RECEIVE FROM OUR GOVERNING BODIES.
