The Clinton Jr. High FBLA Website team is creating a website featuring the artists of Clinton School
District (elementary, Jr. High, and Sr. High). The purpose of this website is to serve as a hub for our
artists to showcase a piece of their portfolios. All artists will need to submit their artwork, a description
of the artwork, a short bio about themselves, and a picture of themselves. The deadline to submit work
is Friday, January 30, 2026. Please turn in your artwork to Mrs. Patti Passmore in Room 806 of the Jr.
High Building. The description of the artwork, bio, and photo can be emailed to Mrs. Passmore at
passmorep@clintonsd.org or submitted by paper copy to Mrs. Passmore. If you need us to take the
picture, we can also do that.
These photos may be published on the website and will be presented to judges at the FBLA Spring
Leadership Conference. The website may also be shared on the school's social media page. The website
link will be texted or emailed to the contact information provided.
With this, we seek your consent to allow us to publish photos of your children and their artwork on the
said platforms.

We are closely monitoring the upcoming winter weather. It appears that the winter weather will arrive tomorrow after school dismisses. As of now we will have school as scheduled. We will maintain the Fast Friday schedule. We will continue to monitor the situation and update later if necessary.
Reminder: Clinton Schools will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Every year it seems snow or severe weather conditions lead to the closure or late start of our schools. We want to keep you updated on those decisions.
The Clinton School District will inform you of school schedule changes as soon as possible through our phone/email/text messaging system, as well as on our website and social media platforms.
The school district will make every effort to operate normally. On rare occasions, however, weather conditions may make it necessary to modify bus routes, and when that occurs, the district will announce the use of “snow routes”. The snow route changes are posted on the District website in the transportation section or by following the link: https://aptg.co/6q5SRz .
At other times, weather conditions may require schools to close early. In that event, the normal busing routes will be followed. Please instruct your child what to do should there be an early school closure when you are not home during the regular school day. Parents are also asked to remind students to be especially careful when walking or waiting for a bus during bad weather.
We hope that weather conditions do not disrupt transportation and schools. However, our most critical concern is the safety and welfare of our students.
Please understand there are many factors when deciding to close or delay school. We exercise caution and overall safety for all district students when determining if school should be canceled or delayed. The large area covered by our district is very diverse geographically, and what one family experiences can be very different from what another family is experiencing on the other side of the district. Transportation drives the streets in the early hours of the morning to determine the safety of all routes. We appreciate your understanding and support.
